I produced this piece using a multi-layer process, utilizing precision machine-cut stencils to capture Kelso’s quintessential 70s look. Every layer was meticulously hand-applied with professional-grade acrylics on a durable 11×14″ wood panel. The result is a sharp, graphic portrait that maintains the unique texture and depth that only a physical painting can provide.
Retro 70s Palette: To lean into the vintage aesthetic of the era, this portrait features a vintage Olive Green background contrasted by Kelso’s signature Burgundy shirt. This color combination provides a clean, “main event” contrast that makes the figure stand out while perfectly capturing the retro vibe of That ’70s Show.
