I produced this piece using a multi-layer process, utilizing precision machine-cut vinyl stencils to define the iconic silhouettes of Joseph “Run” Simmons, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, and Jam Master Jay. The painting features a striking Urban Grey background accented by bold “Adidas Red” details, leaning into the legendary aesthetic that defined the golden age of hip-hop.
Industrial Texture: By choosing a high-quality wood panel, I’ve allowed the natural wood grain to provide a gritty, industrial texture that complements the old-school street-art vibe. Every layer of high-quality acrylic was hand-applied to ensure razor-sharp lines and a clean, graphic finish that carries the physical presence only an original painting can offer.
